COs, or Commanding Officers, are a major focus of Advance Wars gameplay, and they also double as the focus of the story. Each CO has a unique playstyle, with different specialties and powers. Choosing the right CO is important to your strategy, but you should try lots of different COs to enjoy the large amount of variety they offer to the game.
Custom Wars features many new COs, so be sure to check them out. Check out the original Advance Wars COs as well, as they all have new Tag Affinities and updated stats for Balance Mode.
